What is PostBear?

Is PostBear available publicly?
Not yet. We're currently working with a small invite-only group of agencies and creators. Contact us if you'd like to be considered.
Which platforms does it support?
Instagram Business accounts and Facebook Pages today. More platforms are on the roadmap.
When will it launch publicly?
When we're confident the scheduling pipeline is rock-solid in production. No fixed date — we'd rather ship late than ship broken.

What's a carousel?
A multi-image post (2–10 slides) that users swipe through. PostBear handles the whole flow: R2 upload → container creation → publish.
Can I schedule to Instagram Stories or Reels?
Not yet. Image posts and carousels only.
Does it handle timezones?
Yes. Set your local timezone once; PostBear converts everything to the right UTC window and respects DST transitions.
What if my laptop crashes mid-upload?
Every step is recorded in a local manifest with atomic writes. Rerun the same command — PostBear skips completed work and resumes from where it stopped.

Is my data safe?
API tokens stay in your .env on your machine. Images pass through Cloudflare R2 (EU jurisdiction) for Meta's API to fetch, then are deleted after posting. See the Privacy Policy.

What if a post fails?
The manifest records the error. Rerun the command and PostBear retries only the failed posts.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes — paid plans (when available) will be monthly with no contracts.
